Mission Plan
In February 2023, after an intensive process of preparation and consultation, Zion Methodist Church published its agreed Mission Plan. The Plan seeks to provide the highest possible level of service to the community within the capacity of the resources available; those resources being both
its people of the church and its buildings).
The Mission Plan is divided into 4 parts:
- Worship
- Learning and Caring
- Service to the community
- Evangelism
The church has always been active in all of these categories and existing activities such as fellowship groups, Drop-in (coffee mornings), Friday Cameo (Come and Meet Each Other) and Meet and Eat (monthly meals) will all continue. However, the Mission Plan itself sets out a further set of activities which are designed enrich the life of the church, and also to enhance the role
of the church as a hub for community service.

The Mission Plan is to be reviewed on a regular basis. The next review is planned for Autumn 2024.
